Some auto-bio comics I’ve been making about my family. I’ve been using goauche paints for these. In my Soppy comics I used just two colours, red and black, but I decided I need to use a lot more colours to record some of these family moments.

1st February 2023. I made these comics about my day, every hour that I was awake (more or less!)

I used Micron pens and watercolour paints. Drew straight ahead (no pencil) and cut the paintings out, using collage for the speech bubbles. This is a quick way to get colourful pictures for hourly comics.

an Alien Who is Also a Mum is my 16 page comic about parenting small children whilst also being a collection of alien parasites living in the body of a human woman.

Sister BFFs follows a pair of sisters who are not quite adults, but trying desperately to act like them. From job searches to embarrassing encounters with former crushes, these twenty-something sisters navigate the ups, downs, and in-betweens of early adulthood – together. Loosely based on the author’s own life, Sister BFFs celebrates the complicated love-hate relationship between sisters to hilarious effect.  They tease and trick each other but always stay loyal.

1st February 2021, a comic for each hour of the day. It’s a miracle that I was able to compete these this year because with a three year old and twin 11 month old babies, during a global pandemic and under full lockdown, it was a hectic situation. Luckily it was actually a pretty laid-back day and I did find space to make them.

These models are made of Sculpey and then painted with acrylic paint and varnished. I often sell these at comic shows.

Hourly Comic Day is where you draw a comic for every hour you're awake on February 1st. Here's what I managed for 2018. Not every hour I was awake, but every hour my baby Robin was awake that day so that's something!

Illustrations for the book "Life After Transplant: An Essential Guide to Sex and Relationships" made by Anthony Nolan, the fantastic charity who help patients with blood cancer.

I was particularly pleased to work with this charity because they helped my mum in 2014 when she had a stem cell transplant using stem cells from an Anthony Nolan donor.

My Cardboard Life the webcomic made out of cardboard, paper and other bits and pieces. I updated this webcomic three to five times a week between 2008 and 2013.

Colin and Pauline step out of the 2D comic and have an adventure in the real world.

The story started on April 21st with five new updates a week plus an animated gif every Sunday.

There's also a hardback book version, with bonus 3D images and 3D glasses.

I made this board game and painted the box and board. The little parts are sculpey models. The aim of the game is to collect the best presents for Egglington's birthday in time for the party.

My biggest diorama yet. I put together this display in the window at Nottingham's wonderful comic shop Page 45. It's for promoting Game City, the videogame and culture festival which takes place in Nottingham on 20th - 27th October.
